Project Overview

Arabian Pearl Engineering executed a critical boiler tube replacement project during a planned annual maintenance shutdown for a major power generation company. The project required meticulous planning to ensure completion within the strict 30-day window while maintaining the highest safety standards.

The scope involved the removal and replacement of 1,500 tubes in the economizer and superheater sections. Our specialized team of certified boiler welders and technicians worked around the clock to meet the deadline.

Scope of Work

• Casing removal and interior insulation stripping.
• Cutting and removal of damaged/worn boiler tubes.
• Surface preparation and inspection of tube sheets.
• Installation and precision welding of ASTM A213 alloy steel tubes.
• Post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) where required.
• Successful high-pressure hydrostatic testing according to ASME standards.
